A local-first AI assistant, built and run entirely on my own hardware.
First things first, I'm not interested in cloud-dependent AI or the data-center-driven model most of the industry has built itself around.
H.E.C.T.O.R. is my answer: an assistant that runs on hardware I own, with voice recognition, language processing, and speech synthesis handled locally—no cloud calls, no third-party data harvesting, no subscription gatekeeping. It's a personal project built on the belief that AI should be something you control, not something that controls you.
While continuing to develop my assistant, I'm simultaneously exploring wearables — smart glasses, fitness trackers, sEMG bands, and similar devices — as potential hands-free interfaces for H.E.C.T.O.R., capturing voice and gestures, surfacing responses through display or audio, while the actual processing stays local to hardware in my home.

Additionally entrusted with elevated IT permissions typically reserved for technical staff, performing computer technician duties including troubleshooting hardware/software issues and supporting the school's technology infrastructure.
